" I brought my son to see Beverley for his ADHD because his behaviour was a real nightmare. He was regularly being sent home from school because he was trouble in class and he couldn't concentrate even a little bit. He was very aggressive at home and I couldn't control him at all. I was at the end of my tether. Beverley made some small changes to his diet and gave him a series of massage treatments to calm him down and within 3 months he was a changed child. My husband and I couldn't believe it! That was six years ago. He is now 15, going into his GCSE year and doing brilliantly at school. She worked a miracle."

" I first came to see Beverley after a routine blood test showed I had high cholesterol, but I didn't want to start taking statins because I was worried about the side effects. She gave me some nutritional supplements to clear my liver and now my cholesterol is normal. The best thing was, I didn't have to change my diet at all...and my memory has improved!"

Beverley was recommended to me in 2002 after I had received unsuccessful treatment/management for Crohn's Disease over a course of several years, during which time I spent a considerable amount of time on steroids and had surgery for a resection of my small intestine.
After completing her questionnaire and talking to her over the phone, I had my first appointment which was a very positive and informative experience. She was very thorough with her explanations and gave me information which enabled me immediately to have a much better understanding of the illness from which I had been suffering. She very much put me at ease and I felt for the first time that someone was genuinely listening to me (something rarely experienced within the NHS) instead of telling me what I was experiencing. She made it clear that it would not be a quick fix and would require dedication on my part and I appreciated having this explained to me from the start.
After 2-3 months I noticed a signifcant change in my symptoms; I experienced less pain, focused more on the foods I was consuming and eliminated foods that Beverley had highlighted which would exacerbate my symptoms. I felt much better in myself as a result of the alleviation of the symptoms that had previously controlled my life for the past 2 years.
During the course of the following 12 months I continued to see Beverley on a regular basis at which times she would check my progress, discuss the protocol and explain the next stage of my treatment. We would discuss the protocol and establish any potential problems and find a solution.
The treatments used were a combination of nutrition (supplementation) and bodywork, together with continuous information and knowledge to keep me informed and involved in the treatment throughout the whole process.
After a period of approximately 18 months I was (and still am) symptom free. That was 7 years ago. I remain symptom free to this day. I longer associate myself with Crohn's Disease, which would have been impossible to comprehend 7 years ago as it completely ruled my life.
I have also had consultations with Beverley over the subsequent years regarding issues with my thyroid gland, an imbalance with my oestrogen levels and cervical dysplasia, all of which have had the same positive outcome.
I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been treated by her for my various diseases/disorders and I am continuously recommending her to friends and relatives due to her boundless knowledge and thoroughly professional demeanour."

"In March 2000 I was diagnosed with auto-immune liver disease and auto-immune cholangiopathy. The first year of my illness is a blur. I was prescribed high doses of steroids and immuno-suppressants. I had two consultants, one in Brighton where I live and the other up at London's Kings College Hospital. I was under the care of the top liver consultant there but wasn't offered much hope for my future. Eventually on a cocktail of drugs I managed to slowly get some quality of existence back.
I was then diagnosed with osteoporosis, through taking steroids. A few years on I was diagnosed with Chrones disease and an under active thyroid.
By October 2005 my future was looking bleak, I felt my husband and children suffered because I was unable to do normal everyday things. Life was becoming a struggle.Liver biopsies and scans showed severe scarring from the disease and cirrhosis. My only option was to have a liver transplant or death.
Through talking to a relative it was suggested that I go and see Beverley Dowdall. My husband and I were very sceptical and had no idea what could be achieved. I made an appointment in the October with Beverley and can remember sitting in The Ark while Bev explained the whole process of my diseases, how my body did what it did and that it had all sorts of self-healing processes that could be encouraged to kick in. I felt all my doom melt away, at last I had been given hope.
Four years on and yes I am still here! My liver tests are good, my thyroid is no longer under-active, there is no sign of the Chrones disease and I am no longer on the high doses of steroids and immunosuppressants. Beverley has given me my life back and I am fit and well I am working and doing all the everyday things that everyone else does. I now live a full and active life, not the prognosis of my consultants! I am supposed to have incurable diseases. The only comment from the doctors I have been given is I have gone into spontaneous remission. They are not interested how I managed to get myself so well again.
I had another liver scan last year and it showed a COMPLETELY NORMAL liver, smooth and no cirrhosis or scarring, a huge contrast to previous scans which showed such severe scarring that I needed a transplant or I would die. This alone I find conclusive evidence that the work that Beverley does, really does work.
I cant express how grateful I am to have found Beverley, I know if it wasn't for her I would not be here now. I want to tell the world there is another way to help yourself to get well again. Diagnosis' are not written in stone, you just need to find the right people."
